Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at the 2025 Texas Hoedown.  Our event’s success relies on the dedication and support of our amazing volunteer staff. Thank you for stepping up to help make our event a success!

Whether this is your first time to volunteer, or you are a seasoned volunteer, we understand you may have questions. Below, you’ll find important information that will hopefully answer some of your questions.

Volunteer Requirements and Perks

  • To receive a weekend pass, you must volunteer eight (8) hours.
  • You must pay for your pass at the time of registration.
  • Your registration fee will be refunded on Sunday after you have worked your scheduled volunteer hours.
  • A refund will be granted at the rate of $10 per hour volunteered with a two (2) hour minimum.

Scheduling and Check-In

  • When signing up to volunteer, select your work category and times from the volunteer options. Be sure to indicate whether you will be competing and specify the division(s).
  • You will need to check-in prior to each assignment at the competition registration desk.
